The manufacturing unit's "Technical Visionary" and "Production Blueprint Architect" is the AutoCAD Design Engineer. Your main responsibility is to convert engineering sketches and conceptual ideas into accurate, comprehensive technical drawings that direct the whole manufacturing process. As the "Clarity Specialist," you make sure that measurements, materials, and tolerances are precisely specified to prevent mistakes on the shop floor. The ideal applicant is a meticulous professional with a "Manufacturing-First" mentality who can bridge the gap between R&D concepts and practical production capabilities.
Key Skills:
Software Mastery: Expertise in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); further familiarity with SolidWorks, Inventor, or Catia is strongly recommended.
Mechanical aptitude: in-depth knowledge of production techniques such as machining, forging, casting, and sheet metal fabrication.
Mathematical Precision: Excellent geometry and trigonometry skills for figuring out intricate angles, volumes, and structural needs.
Expert-level comprehension and application of symbols for form, orientation, placement, and runout.
An unwavering eye for even the smallest differences in measurements or annotations that can cause production difficulties.
Experience: 3 to 7yrs
