Responsibilities:
Statistical Process Control (SPC) Orchestration: Create, monitor, and improve automated SPC tracking modules for hydraulic, electric, and hybrid molding equipment. Track important processing variables to create trustworthy process capability indices.
Dimensional Inspection & Metrology Engineering: To audit precise geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T), program and carry out high-precision inspection tracks using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), Visual Measuring Systems (VMS), profile projectors, and digital calipers.
Mould Validation & Trialling Protocol (IQ/OQ/PQ): Oversee and approve installation, operating, and performance qualifications for newly designed or repaired moulds. During test runs, modify velocity-to-pressure (V-P) switchover points to determine the best processing window.
problem Triage & Polymer Root-Cause Analytics: Use sophisticated troubleshooting loops to methodically remove structural rejects while directing real-time problem investigations on the plant floor.
Required Skills:
Advanced mechanical knowledge of injection molding configurations, such as clamping mechanics, screw/barrel zones, hot runner systems, gate structures, and core/cavity cooling lines, is required for polymer rheology and injection molding infrastructure literacy.
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Mastery: The capacity to audit feature control frames, interpret dimensional datums, and comprehend intricate engineering designs at an expert level.
Advanced Statistical Package Fluency: Extensive practical experience using statistical software such as Minitab to handle high-volume production data logs, perform ANOVA checks, test hypotheses, and conduct capacity studies.
Core Quality Tools Competency: Total operational control of the fundamental frameworks for manufacturing quality
Experience: 4 to 6 yrs
