Responsibilities:
Order fulfillment: Work with the planning and production teams to prioritize shipments according to urgent needs and client delivery schedules.
Packing Oversight: To minimize damage during transit, make sure that molded parts are packed in accordance with specific client specifications.
Documentation & Billing: Using the business's ERP system, create precise invoices, Delivery Challans (DC), Packing Lists, and E-Way Bills.
Inventory Reconciliation: To find any disparities, physically verify the finished goods (FG) stock on a regular basis and compare it with the ERP system.
Transporter management includes tracking vehicle arrival and departure timings, negotiating freight pricing, and coordinating with logistics partners and vehicle drivers.
Final Quality Check: Before loading goods onto vehicles, visually inspect labels and packing integrity one last time.
Required Skills:
Logistics & Warehousing: Excellent knowledge of FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory flow and warehouse management systems (WMS).
Documentation Accuracy: Careful attention to detail when creating tax invoices and legal transit documentation (GST compliance).
ERP Proficiency: Knowledge of managing inventory and dispatch using SAP, Tally, or bespoke ERP modules.
Communication: The capacity to interact with customer procurement teams, internal production heads, and transporters in an efficient manner.
Problem-solving skills: The capacity to deal with vehicle delays, logistical obstacles, and documentation problems under strict shipment deadlines.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
