Location: In And Around Chennai
Your Duties:
3D Parametric Part Modeling: Using intricate feature trees, configurator equations, and design tables in SolidWorks, create and organize sturdy, completely constrained 3D solid models.
Large Assembly Lifecycle Architecture: Create intricate top-down or bottom-up mechanical assemblies, assess moving component envelopes, define exact mate limitations, and carry out interference and collision audits.
Production Drawing & GD&T Detailing: Using rigorous Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing criteria to guarantee structural alignment, create comprehensive 2D manufacturing drawings, projection sheets, and exploded assembly views from 3D assets.
Design-for-Manufacturing Optimizations: Use specific SolidWorks modules such as Sheet Metal, Weldments, and Mold Tools to customize digital designs to fit localized shop-floor fabrication restrictions.
FEA Stress and Deflection Simulations: Use SolidWorks Simulation tools to carry out basic structural and thermal Finite Element Analysis tests in order to verify safety factors, reduce structural mass, and assess stress locations.
