Design and Drafting: Use CAD software to produce intricate 2D and 3D models of mechanical parts and assemblies.
Analysis & Simulation: Before physical prototyping, test designs for stress, thermal characteristics, and fluid flow using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
Testing and Prototyping: Create tangible prototypes and carry out thorough testing to confirm design performance in relation to technical requirements and safety regulations.
Manufacturing Support: Choose suitable materials and fabrication techniques while working with production teams to build manufacturing processes.
Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer: Create energy-efficient systems that incorporate combustion, refrigeration, and heat exchange.
Project Management: Oversee engineering projects by overseeing cross-functional teams, budgets, and schedules to guarantee completion within scope.
Required Skills:
Technical Mastery: Proficiency in thermodynamics, kinematics, mechanics, and materials science.
Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of simulation tools (ANSYS/Matlab) and 3D modeling (SolidWorks/CATIA).
The capacity to recognize weak points in intricate systems and create original, reliable remedies
Standard Knowledge: Knowledge of industry standards like ISO, ANSI, and ASME.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
