By using accuracy and compliance expertise to guarantee that every service is invoiced accurately the first time, the Charge Entry Executive position is developing into a crucial quality gate that significantly lowers denials and speeds up collections.
Desired Outcomes:
You will be responsible for the timely and accurate entry of all professional and facility charges into the billing system. Your expertise in reading operative reports/clinical documentation, your knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding, and your ability to accurately apply modifiers will be crucial. You will collaborate closely with coders and billing specialists to resolve discrepancies and ensure that all services rendered are billed completely and compliantly. Your accuracy directly impacts the denial rate and the speed of our revenue cycle.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
