Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Main switchgear, transformers, air circuit breakers (ACBs), vacuum circuit breakers (VCBs), high-voltage/low-voltage substations, and power factor correction banks are all part of substation and power distribution maintenance.
PLC Automation & HMI Diagnostics: Identify malfunctioning field sensors by parsing ladder logic inputs and troubleshooting PLC hardware systems and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
VFD & Motor Control Center Maintenance: Within regional Motor Control Centers (MCCs), calibrate, set up, and maintain industrial variable frequency drives (VFDs), soft starters, servo drives, and three-phase induction motors.
Predictive Maintenance (PdM) Auditing: Implement condition-monitoring procedures, examine insulation resistance data, ultrasonic profiles, and infrared thermography scans of electrical panels for hot spots.
Emergency Breakdown Remediation: Oversee shop-floor technicians in the event of significant electrical failures, using quick schematic and multimeter inspections to safely reduce equipment repair times.

Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
Education: Diploma/BE in EEE, ECE
