Blueprint Interpretation: To ascertain joint configurations and necessary weld sizes, read and comprehend welding symbols, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Material Preparation: To guarantee the best weld fusion and to get rid of impurities like rust or scale, prepare surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and beveling edges.
Equipment Setup: Choose the appropriate electrodes and modify the welding machine's settings according to the welding location and material thickness.
Quality Inspection: Examine finished welds visually for flaws such porosity, undercut, or slag inclusions; if necessary, rework or grinding should be done.
Equipment Maintenance: To guarantee secure and reliable electrical contact, regularly maintain welding leads, electrode holders, and ground clamps.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
Education: Any ITI/Diploma Graduation
