Responsibilities:
Asset Management: Create and carry out thorough Preventative Maintenance (PM) plans for every piece of plant machinery.
Breakdown Response: Take the lead in quickly diagnosing and fixing equipment during unscheduled outages in order to meet "Mean Time to Repair" goals.
Root Cause Analysis: Use tools like "5 Whys" or "Fishbone Diagrams" to conduct in-depth examinations into recurrent equipment failures in order to put long-term technical solutions in place.
Use Condition-Based Predictive Maintenance monitoring methods to forecast component life cycles, including vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis.
Inventory of Spare Parts: Keep an eye on the "MRO" inventory to minimize stock-holding expenses and guarantee that essential parts are available.
Vendor management: Oversee outside contractors for yearly maintenance agreements, facilities improvements, and specialty repairs.
Safety and Compliance: Make sure that all maintenance operations adhere to environmental rules, machine guarding requirements, and Lock-Out Tag-Out protocols.

Required Skills:
Multidisciplinary Engineering: Excellent knowledge of electrical systems (PLCs, VFDs, sensors) and mechanical systems (gears, bearings, pneumatics).
Diagnostic literacy is the ability to understand electrical single-line diagrams, hydraulic circuits, and intricate assembly blueprints.
CMMS Proficiency: Knowledge in tracking work orders and history using computerized maintenance management systems.
Analytical Thinking: The capacity to evaluate performance indicators and machine data to inform data-driven maintenance choices.
Project leadership is the ability to oversee new machinery installations or equipment overhauls within financial and schedule limitations.
