Your Duties:
Process Capability Analysis: Use statistical process control to assess and keep an eye on manufacturing processes to make sure they can reliably produce items that meet specifications.
New Product Introduction: Oversee the creation of APQP documentation and PPAP submissions, as well as the quality planning for new products.
Risk Mitigation: To identify possible manufacturing process failure sites and put preventative controls in place, facilitate and maintain PFMEA.
Continuous Improvement: Promote "Lean" and "Six Sigma" initiatives to improve overall equipment effectiveness while lowering waste, scrap, and rework.
Root Cause Investigation: Use structured approaches like 8D, Fishbone (Ishikawa), and 5-Why Analysis to guide cross-functional teams in resolving challenging quality problems.
Gauge R&R: To make sure that the instruments and techniques used for inspection are precise, repeatable, and reproducible, do Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA).
