Your Duties:
Design & Development: Use CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Autodesk Inventor) to produce intricate 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings.
Prototyping: Use 3D printing, CNC machining, or conventional fabrication techniques to create and test tangible prototypes to validate design concepts.
Analysis & Simulation: To forecast how designs will respond to actual stresses, heat, and fluid flow, use Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
Material Selection: Consider strength, weight, cost, and environmental considerations while evaluating and choosing suitable materials (metals, polymers, and composites).
System Integration: Manage how mechanical parts are integrated with electrical and electronic systems, particularly in automated machinery or robotics.
Manufacturing Support: Work together with the production team to create fixtures, jigs, and tools; solve problems on the assembly line.
