Proficiency in reading intricate engineering drawings and comprehending Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing symbols.
Metrology Mastery: The ability to use digital micrometers, bore gauges, air gauges, and height masters, among other high-precision measuring instruments.
Controller Fluency: Practical knowledge of key CNC controllers from manufacturers like Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, or Mitsubishi.
Mechanical Logic: A thorough comprehension of "Speeds and Feeds" and the behavior of various materials (such as cast iron, stainless steel, and aluminum) during milling.
The ability to identify the cause of an out-of-spec dimension and make the appropriate offset or mechanical adjustment to remedy it.
