Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Install the necessary cutting instruments (drills, mills, or lathes), load raw materials into the machine, and establish the first "offsets" to guarantee precise alignment.
Operation & Monitoring: To make sure the machinery is operating properly and the product is being produced within tolerance, start the CNC program and keep an eye on the machining process.
Blueprint Reading: To comprehend measurements, tolerances, and finishing requirements, interpret 2D engineering drawings and 3D models.
Quality Inspection: Compare completed items to the "First Article" and production standards using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges).
Basic Troubleshooting: Determine and fix small mechanical problems or software alerts; modify tool wear offsets to keep parts accurate during a shift.
Maintenance and Cleaning: Carry out regular routine maintenance, such as lubricating moving parts, monitoring coolant levels, and clearing the workstation of metal shavings and chips.
Documentation: Keep thorough production logs that document the quantity of parts manufactured, scrap rates, machine downtime, and tool modifications.
Safety Adherence: During maintenance, strictly adhere to "Lockout-Tagout" procedures and utilize PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
Education: 8th, 10th, 12th or Above
