Job Description
Experience: 3 to 5 yrs
Salary: Based on Company Norms
Education: 10th, 12th or Above
Location: In And Around Chennai
Your Duties:
Machine Configuration: Choose and install the appropriate fixtures, chucks, and work-holding devices by interpreting setup sheets and tool lists.
Preparation: Use pre-setters or on-machine probes to adjust tool length and diameter offsets; assemble and calibrate cutting tools.
Program Loading & Verification: To verify for possible crashes or interference, upload G-code or M-code programs to the machine controller and execute them "dry runs" or single-block.
To obtain permission from the quality department, run the first section of a fresh batch and conduct a thorough inspection against the technical drawing.
Optimization: To maximize cycle times and prolong tool life, adjust spindle speeds, feed rates, and coolant flow during setup.
Troubleshooting: Before giving the machine to the operator, identify and fix any problems with the part's size, surface polish, or tool chatter.
