Production Supervisor From Design to Development
Job Description
Duties:
Shift Management: To ensure the best possible manpower distribution for the day's production plan, schedule and assign work shifts and duties to production personnel.
Workflow supervision: Ensure that standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed throughout the whole production process, from the intake of raw materials to the final products.
Performance Monitoring: Compare current production indicators, such as labor efficiency, yield, and hourly output, to predetermined KPIs.
Safety and Compliance: Make sure PPE is used correctly, conduct frequent safety audits, and uphold a "Zero-Accident" culture on the floor.
Quality Assurance: Keep an eye on the product's quality throughout the assembly process to make sure there are no flaws and that it complies with industry-specific or ISO standards.
Training & Mentorship: To develop a flexible and competent workforce, give new hires practical training and cross-train current employees.
Focus Skills:
Leadership: Excellent ability to resolve conflict on the shop floor and inspire a diverse staff.
Technical acumen: a thorough comprehension of the particular production equipment and procedures that are pertinent to the sector.
Analytical Thinking: The capacity to interpret production data and recommend workflow enhancements.
Conflict Resolution: Capable of managing personnel concerns and upholding a disciplined workplace.
