Responsibilities:
Payroll processing: To precisely determine gross and net compensation, gather and validate monthly attendance and leave data.
Statutory Compliance: Make sure that statutory obligations, such as PF, ESI, TDS, and professional tax, are calculated, deducted, and remitted on time.
Variable Pay Management: Determine and handle commissions, bonuses, incentives, and overtime in compliance with business regulations.
Tax Administration: Coordinate the issuing of Form 16 or annual tax certificates, oversee employee tax declarations, and confirm investment proofs.
Employee Lifecycle Management: Work with HR to update the payroll system for promotions, salary increases, terminations, and new hiring.
Grievance Redressal: Within the allotted period, address employee concerns about reimbursement claims, tax deductions, and pay discrepancies.
Settlements: Oversee the "Full and Final" settlement procedure for departing employees, making sure that all recoveries and dues are computed correctly.
Required Skills:
Numerical expertise: sophisticated analytical and mathematical abilities to manage intricate pay arrangements.
Legal Knowledge: Complete comprehension of regional tax and labor legislation.
Software Proficiency: Practical knowledge of advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and payroll software.
Integrity: The capacity to manage private and sensitive financial information with the utmost discretion.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
