Responsibilities:
Implementing Quality Standards: Create and update quality documentation, such as Inspection Plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Quality Manuals.
Statistical Process Control (SPC): Use statistical methods to keep an eye on production processes in order to spot deviations and make sure they stay within predetermined control boundaries.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Use techniques like the Five Whys or Fishbone diagrams to conduct investigations into product malfunctions or customer complaints in order to stop recurrence.
Supplier Quality Management: To guarantee that every component satisfies corporate requirements, audit raw material suppliers and oversee Incoming Quality Control (IQC).
Process Auditing: To verify adherence to ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (Automotive), or other industry-specific rules, conduct routine internal audits on the shop floor.
Continuous Improvement: To cut waste, increase yields, and maximize manufacturing efficiency, apply Lean Six Sigma techniques.
Required Skills:
Analytical Tools: Mastery of advanced Excel and Minitab or comparable statistical tools.
Technical Knowledge: Proficient in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Proficiency in the 8D (Eight Disciplines) method of problem-solving.
Audit Proficiency: ISO 9001 or comparable certified internal auditor.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
