Responsibilities:
Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled inspections and maintenance on electrical motors, switchgears, and field instruments to ensure continuous operation.
Instrumentation Calibration: Calibrate and validate various process instruments using standard test equipment.
Electrical Troubleshooting: Identify and repair faults in electrical control panels, wiring, lighting systems, and power distribution boards.
Control Systems Support: Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC and DCS I/O modules and field wiring.
Loop Testing: Perform loop checks and continuity testing to ensure the integrity of signals between the field instruments and the control room.
Reading Technical Documents: Interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and loop drawings for fault finding and installation.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict safety protocols, including LOTO and working in hazardous areas.
Emergency Repairs: Respond to unplanned breakdowns and restore functionality to critical systems in a timely manner.
Required Skills:
practical experience using test equipment and electrical tools.
fundamental knowledge of instrumentation signals and control logic.
the capacity to troubleshoot motor control centers and three-phase motors.
strong mechanical aptitude for field instrument mounting and installation.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
