Job Title: VMC Operator
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Salary: ₹12,000 to ₹22,000 per month (depending on skills and experience)
Role & Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor VMC machines (Vertical Machining Centers).
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Load raw materials and tools into the machine.
Run machining cycles and monitor quality.
Perform basic measurement checks using tools like Vernier caliper, micrometer, etc.
Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety procedures.
Qualifications:
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, Machinist, or related field.
Basic knowledge of CNC/VMC operations and tools.
Fresher or up to 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience:
0 to 3 years
Freshers with technical training/ITI can apply
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of G-code and M-code is a plus
Ability to work in shifts
Basic understanding of machine maintenance
