Job Description
Job Title: Electrical Technician
Location: Chennai
Experience: 1 to 5 years
Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Days: 6 days/week
Shift: Rotational
Salary: ₹15,000 to ₹35,000 per month (based on experience)
Roles and Responsibilities:
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and machinery
Troubleshoot and fix electrical faults in industrial equipment or control panels
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, circuit layouts, and technical drawings
Carry out preventive maintenance as per schedule
Maintain and update maintenance logs and service records
Ensure safety standards and electrical compliance are met
Work closely with the maintenance or engineering team for operational support
Skills Required:
Knowledge of electrical tools, wiring, and components
Hands-on experience with motors, panels, lighting, and circuits
Ability to read electrical schematics
Basic understanding of safety procedures and lockout/tagout
Good communication and teamwork skills
