Job Role:
We are seeking an experienced VMC Operator for our precision manufacturing unit in Chennai. The candidate must be capable of handling VMC machines independently and producing components as per engineering drawings.
Responsibilities:
Operate and set up VMC machines (Vertical Machining Centers)
Read and understand engineering drawings
Perform tool setting, offset correction, and job inspection
Maintain quality standards and follow safety guidelines
Conduct basic maintenance of the machine
Candidate Profile:
Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Tool & Die
3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in VMC operation
Familiarity with measuring instruments like micrometer, vernier caliper
Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi controllers preferred
Ability to work in a team and follow shift schedules
