Insurance Follow-up: To find out the status of unpaid claims that have exceeded the anticipated payment deadline, make outgoing calls to insurance firms (payers).
Denial Investigation: Examine "Electronic Remittance Advice" (ERA) and "Explanation of Benefits" (EOB) to determine the reasons behind a claim's denial.
Issue Resolution: Fix claims flaws, such as coding inconsistencies or demographic errors, and start re-submissions or appeals as needed.
SLA Adherence: Keep a high "Resolution Rate" on all assigned accounts while meeting daily and monthly production goals.
Documentation: Add thorough, precise notes on each encounter with payers to the Practice Management System (PMS) or billing software.
Trend Identification: To stop future losses, find recurrent refusal trends from particular insurance companies and notify the billing manager.
