Location: In And Around Chennai
Your Duties:
Outbound/Inbound Patient Contact: Respond to incoming questions about billing statements and make calls to patients who have past-due accounts.
Statement Explanation: To assist patients in understanding why they owe a particular amount, break down complicated Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and provider invoices.
Negotiate full payments or create structured "Payment Plans" in compliance with the financial policies of the provider.
Payment Processing: Ensure PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliance while safely collecting and processing credit card or check payments over the phone.
Demographic and Insurance Updates: Find and fix any mistakes in patient or insurance data that would have caused the initial denial of a claim.
Dispute Resolution: Work with the coding or clinical departments to confirm charges while addressing patient concerns about billing issues or service quality.
