Location: In And Around Chennai
Your Duties:
Patient & Charge Demographic Entry: Gather an input provider and patient demographic data into the Practice Management System (PMS).
Coding Assignment & Verification: For medical services provided, assign and confirm the proper CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-10 (Diagnosis), and HCPCS codes.
Superbill Processing: Examine and analyze "Patient Encounter Forms" or "Superbills" to make sure all services are recorded without omission.
Modifier Application: To give insurance payers more information and optimize lawful reimbursement, apply the proper medical modifiers (such as -25, -59) to codes.
Charge Scrubbing: Before the claim is sent, do the first "Claim Scrubbing" to find and fix any missing data, inconsistent codes, or duplicate entries.
Batch Reconciliation: Make that the overall number of encounters and total dollar value submitted match the source documentation by balancing daily charge batches.
