Your Contribution:
Co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance payments made by patients directly through checks, credit cards, or internet portals are posted.
Secondary Claims: After the first payment has been posted, identify and start charging secondary and tertiary insurances.
Daily Balancing: To guarantee 100% correctness between the money received and the money deposited, reconcile daily payment batches against bank deposits.
Contractual adjustments, write-offs, and discounts should be applied in accordance with the insurance provider's charge schedule.
Feedback Loop: Notify the billing staff or management of any notable changes in payment patterns or unanticipated spikes in particular denial kinds.
HIPAA Compliance: Adhere strictly to HIPAA standards and the protection of patient health information.
Maintaining Records: Make sure all electronic and paper remits are filed and arranged for upcoming audits.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
