Job Description
Duties:
Database Design: Create and manage relational database schemas that provide appropriate normalization and effective data structures.
Development: Create and refine user-defined functions (UDFs), stored procedures, triggers, and intricate SQL queries.
Performance tuning: To lower latency, examine and adjust underperforming queries using Execution Plans and indexing techniques.
ETL Processes: Use technologies like SSIS or custom scripts to design and implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes for data migration between systems.
Data Integrity & Security: To safeguard sensitive information and preserve data accuracy, put limitations, data validation logic, and security procedures into place.
Troubleshooting: Find and fix deadlocks, bottlenecks, and connectivity problems in production settings.
Focus Skills:
Proficiency in SQL dialects.
Expertise in database administration tools.
Strong understanding of Relational Database Management Systems and NoSQL concepts.
Knowledge of data warehousing and reporting tools
