Your Duties:
Salary Processing: Oversee the complete payroll cycle, which includes figuring up each employee's gross salary, net pay, overtime, and bonuses.
Attendance & Leave Management: To guarantee precise "Loss of Pay" (LOP) computations, reconcile information from biometric/attendance systems with leave requests.
Statutory Compliance: Make sure that provident fund (PF), employee state insurance (ESI), professional tax (PT), and labor welfare fund (LWF) deductions and filings are accurate and timely.
Income Tax & TDS: Manage the distribution of Form 16 and quarterly TDS reports; compute monthly Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) based on employee investment declarations.
Complete and Final Settlement: Handle the "F&F" settlements for departing employees, making sure that all payments, buyouts during the notice period, and gratuities are computed correctly.
Payroll Accounting: Work with the Finance division to reconcile bank statements and make sure payroll expenses are appropriately recorded under the relevant cost areas.
Answering questions: Serve as the main point of contact for employee complaints about pay, tax deductions, and requests for reimbursement.
Audit & Reporting: Create monthly payroll MIS reports for management review, which should include head-count analysis, increment trackers, and deviation reports.
