Location: In And Around Chennai
Your Duties:
Tool & Die Fabrication: Take the lead in producing novel tools such as progressive stamping tools, pressure die-casting dies, and plastic injection molds.
Design of Jigs and Fixtures: Create and construct unique work-holding equipment to guarantee precise and effective production line operations.
Precision Machining: To obtain sub-micron tolerances, operate sophisticated tool room equipment such surface grinders, cylindrical grinders, lathes, and milling machines.
EDM Operation: Create complex shapes in hardened tool steel by programming and running Sinker EDM and Wire-Cut EDM machines.
Prior to handover, confirm tool dimensions using high-precision metrology tools such as digital height gauges, slip gauges, and profile projectors.
Choose the right tool steels and outline the required heat treatment procedures for metallurgical selection to guarantee the durability and hardness of the tool.
