Job Description:
Responsibilities:
3D Modeling & Assembly: Use top-down or bottom-up design techniques to create intricate 3D parts and assemblies in SolidWorks that ensure correct fit, shape, and function.
2D Drafting & GD&T: To guarantee correct production, produce precise 2D engineering drawings with thorough Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
BOM Management: To assist with production scheduling and procurement, create and maintain precise Bills of Materials (BOM) in SolidWorks.
Simulation & Analysis: To verify the structural integrity of designs, use SolidWorks Simulation to carry out basic Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Stress Analysis.
Prototyping: Work together with the workshop or 3D printing lab to develop prototypes, assess performance, and modify designs in response to testing outcomes.
PDM/PLM Integration: To guarantee data integrity throughout the engineering team, use SolidWorks PDM to handle file versioning, workflows, and technical documentation.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
Education: Diploma/BE in Mech
