Your Duties:
Precision GTAW/TIG Welding: Maintain exact arc length, travel speed, and filler rod deposition while performing hand TIG welding procedures on thin-to-medium gauge metals in all places.
Blueprint and Weld Symbol Interpretation: To ascertain the necessary joint configurations and weld sizes, read and comprehend intricate industrial fabrication blueprints, structural drawings, and standard welding symbols.
Material Preparation & Fitting: Before final welding loops, clean, degrease, bevel, and pre-assemble raw metal pieces using angles, clamps, and fixtures. Accurately tack weld to guarantee proper dimensional alignment.
Post-Weld Inspection & Finishing: Visually inspect completed weld beads to find and remove flaws including porosity, undercuts, cracks, or incomplete fusion; use chemical pickling or wire blending brushes to remove oxide discolouration.
