Job Description:
Responsibilities:
2D Technical Drawing Generation: Use AutoCAD to produce extremely detailed, dimensioned, and annotated 2D engineering drawings, fabrication blueprints, and assembly layouts.
Draft thorough plant facility plans, machine installation drawings, material flow lines, and basic utility schematic routing maps for factory layout and piping design.
Engineering Change Order (ECO) Processing: Maintain a rigorous version history across the central engineering vault while modifying, updating, and controlling changes of legacy drawings based on Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
Bill of Materials (BOM) Compilation: To create and maintain structured Bills of Materials (BOMs) that include precise material grades, component counts, hardware, and surface treatments, extract drawing data.
Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Review: Work with Production and Tooling Engineers to confirm that component tolerances match the capabilities of typical shop-floor machinery.
Legacy Blueprint Digitization: Create immaculate, well-organized CAD blocks and layers from older physical paper drawings, blueprints, or simple conceptual 3D file formats.

Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
Education: Diploma/BE in Mech
