Job Description:
Responsibilities:
MIG Welding Operation: Follow production routing schedules when doing superior manual Gas Metal Arc Welding on structural frames, sheet metal housings, subassemblies, or piping systems.
Blueprint Interpretation: To perform the proper weld profile, read and correctly interpret fabrication blueprints, mechanical engineering drawings, and international welding symbols.
Material Preparation: Before welding, use hand tools to clean, grind, bevel, and preheat metal base surfaces to remove scale, rust, and oil. Tack welds, fittings, and clamps are used to position and secure components.
Dimensional Quality Checks: Use weld fillet gauges, calipers, and squares to perform structural checks on finished welds to verify depth of penetration, correct bead contour, and dimensional accuracy.
DefectControl: Use grinding and re-welding procedures to rectify defective passes while identifying and troubleshooting welding anomalies including undercut, porosity, slag inclusions, or distortion.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
Education: Any ITI/Diploma Graduation
