Key Responsibilities
Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels of medical supplies, conduct regular physical audits, and manage expiration dates to prevent losses.
Procurement & Vendor Management: Order supplies, coordinate with vendors, and negotiate for cost-effective procurement.
Storage & Safety: Ensure medicines and equipment are stored under proper conditions (temperature/humidity) following regulatory standards (e.g., GMP).
Distribution: Issue supplies to various departments, such as nursing units or operation theaters, accurately and on time.
Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of receipts, returns, and issues using ERP/SAP systems.
Qualifications
Education: Typically requires a degree or diploma in pharmacy, healthcare management, or supply chain management.
Experience: Previous experience in hospital store management is often preferred.
Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and inventory management skills, along with proficiency in computer applications.
