Faerie Glen, Pretoria: SENIOR LABOUR ATTORNEY
Minimum Requirements:
-Presentable and professional, non-smoking individual
-Fully bilingual with strong business English proficiency
-Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree completed and Admitted as an Attorney a must
-Minimum 5 years post admission experience as a Practising Attorney, with specialization in Employment- and Labour Law a must
-Experienced and fully independently functional in Disciplinary Hearings (including chairing, drafting disciplinary policies & contract etc.), CCMA Arbitration and Litigation, and drafting of Labour Court pleadings
-Computer literate in MS Office
-Driver’s license and own vehicle
-Residing in Pretoria (Within daily commuting distance of Faerie Glen)
-Stable employment record and contactable References a must
-To start as soon as possible
Duties:
-Handling and attending to Employment- and Labour Law matters for law firm
-Attend to Disciplinary Hearings, including chairing, drafting disciplinary policies & contract etc.
-CCMA Arbitration and Litigation
-Drafting of Labour Court pleadings
-Urgent applications
-General Attorney duties (client legal representation, Court appearances etc.)
Salary: R 40 000.00 – R 80 000.00 gross maximum (Depending on relevant experience)
