Responsibilities:
Patient Registration: Enter or update patient demographic information from face sheets or scanned hospital records.
Insurance Verification & Entry: Correctly enter Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary payer information, such as Policy IDs, Group Numbers, and Payer IDs, by interpreting insurance cards.
Provider Information Entry: To guarantee that claims are sent to the appropriate organization, associate the patient's interaction with the appropriate Referring, Rendering, and Billing providers.
Data Scrubbing: To prevent "Patient Not Found" denials, confirm that the patient's name and ID match the insurance company's database.
Eligibility Check Support: Verify that the insurance coverage was in effect on the Date of Service by conducting preliminary computerized eligibility checks.
Batch management: Divide the work into daily batches and make sure that all patient records are entered within the 24-48 hour turnaround time.

Required Skills:
Superior Accuracy: The capacity to identify small differences.
US Healthcare Knowledge: Knowledge of US address formats and insurance kinds (HMO, PPO, Medicare, Medicaid).
Alphanumeric Typing Speed: Specifically for data entry, at least 40–50 WPM with 99% accuracy.
Software Proficiency: Knowledge of RCM systems such as NextGen, eClinicalWorks, Athenahealth, or Epic.
