Use the proper billing modifiers to make sure the procedure's complexity and specificity are recorded for the highest possible reimbursement. Before the claim is sent, do a "First-Level Scrub" to find any missing data, mismatched codes, or "Global Period" disputes. Make sure the system's total "Charge Amount" corresponds to the provider's log by organizing and entering charges in daily batches. Point out any gaps in documentation or "down-coding" risks to the clinical team or coding team so they can be clarified.
