Job Description:
Our manufacturing division's "Customer Resolution Authority" and "Field Technology Ambassador" are the Service Engineer. Your main responsibility, in contrast to plant-bound engineers, is to work at our clients' facilities, overseeing the installation, commissioning, diagnostic troubleshooting, and repair of our manufactured capital equipment (such as heavy hydraulic presses, automated packaging lines, CNC machines, and industrial compressors). As the "Critical Technical Pivot," you serve as a link between our design engineers and the actual functionality of our equipment. The ideal applicant is a highly adaptive, analytical mechanical or electrical professional who enjoys traveling frequently, thrives under pressure, and can quickly fix a machine breakdown on a client's floor, turning technical difficulties into exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Skills:
Electro-Mechanical Blueprint Literacy: The capacity to read and comprehend electrical circuit diagrams, intricate hydraulic schematics, and mechanical layout blueprints while on the go.
Field Tooling & Metrology Competency: The ability to use multimeters, vibration analyzers, dial indications, infrared thermometers, and specialty alignment equipment with confidence.
Automation Interface Agility: The capacity to trace trouble codes and release operational locks by navigating machine controller architecture.
High Emotional Intelligence & De-escalation: Outstanding interpersonal abilities to gently handle anxious clients amid costly equipment malfunctions while effectively presenting technical answers.
Experience: 3 to 6 yrs
