Learning Disabled Creator Seeks Humorous Co-Writer - Price: $0
Ad # 967023
I am a creator of many things. But, I have a disability that gets in the way of some of them. It feels like seeing something about to happen to someone, but not being able to tell them. I know what I want to type, but it comes out in German with a Spanish twist...like nouns, verbs, and all in a mosh pit. Very frustrating! This very letter took hours to complete, when it should've only been a few minutes...and still isn't right.
One of the creations that my bungled brain has problems with perfecting is a comedic series manuscript (copyrighted of course). Consisting of five adventure stories loosely chronicling the adult life of a fantasy minded nice guy, a crew, a necessary job, and a lot of crazy, topsy-turvey, hilarious happenings one hundred years into the future. For this I seek the assistance of a co-writer located in my area.
Retaining full credit for their work, no ghosts-a partnership, I need a writer who is familiar with the comedy of Mel Brooks (slapstick-cheese), John Cleese (expressive reactions-"own world" characters), and the team of Rob Grant - Doug Naylor (lilt-style). A strong familiarity with the BBC production of Red Dwarf is essential. The task and goal: finalize outlines- which are 95% complete, to create their own stories for the series based on existing format/criteria, and to help bring other creative disciplines into the team (graphic artists, script, and production).
This is a grass roots, basement floor-entry level, have faith in the story, starve until we don't, project. There is no money- offered, paid, or otherwise until proper representation and production is gained.
