A tele callers is responsible for initiating outbound calls or handling inbound calls to sell products, services, or generate leads, while maintaining high customer service standards. Key tasks include following scripts, addressing client concerns, updating databases, and achieving daily/monthly sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Lead Generation: Initiating outbound cold calls to potential customers to promote products or services and close sales.
Customer Support: Answering inbound calls, answering questions, and handling complaints or inquiries regarding services.
Follow-ups: Following up with prospects to nurture leads and convert them into customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Communication: Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport, engage customers, and persuade them.
Persistence: Ability to handle rejection and remain professional.
Technical Literacy: Basic computer proficiency (Excel, CRM software).
Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with experience in tele calling or sales preferred.
