Your Duties:
Circuit Design & Simulation: Create analog and digital circuits and run simulations with programs like SPICE, Proteus, or Multisim to check power consumption and signal integrity.
PCB Layout & Development: Using Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad, create multi-layer printed circuit board (PCB) layouts while adhering to EMI/EMC regulations.
Embedded Systems Integration: Choose and program microcontrollers and FPGAs; work with software teams to integrate firmware with hardware.
Prototyping and Testing: Construct hardware prototypes, debug circuits, and verify performance against design specifications using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.
Component Selection: Oversee the Bill of Materials (BOM) and choose semiconductors, passive parts, and sensors according to supply chain availability, cost, and technical performance.
EMI/EMC Compliance: Make sure the finished product meets regulatory certifications by designing circuits to reduce electromagnetic interference.
