Data Input & Transcription: Enter alphanumeric information from source documents into a database or computer system in an efficient manner.
Data Verification: To guarantee 100% accuracy, cross-reference entered data with source documents to find and fix problems.
Database Maintenance: To keep the database healthy, remove duplicate or superfluous entries and update existing records to guarantee that the information is up to date.
Maintain strict adherence to data privacy standards and use extreme caution while handling sensitive company or customer information.
Reporting: To support decision-making or auditing procedures, create simple reports from the database as desired by management.
Equipment Maintenance: To minimize downtime in the data entry flow, notify the IT department of any hardware or software issues.

Required Skills:
Typing Proficiency: 40–50 WPM is the minimum typing speed, with an emphasis on 10-key numeric pad accuracy.
Attention to Detail: The capacity to identify small mistakes in lengthy data strings.
Software Knowledge: familiarity with database software or ERP systems, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel (Spreadsheets).
