Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Tool Design & Development: Using CAD software, create precise molds, dies, and fixtures in accordance with product specifications.
Precision Machining: Manage or operate both traditional and CNC machinery to create tool parts.
Tool Maintenance & Repair: Make sure worn-out or damaged dies and tools adhere to the original design tolerances by troubleshooting and fixing them.
Material Selection: Depending on the needed tool life, hardness, and application, choose the proper tool steels and heat treatment techniques.
Jigs & Fixtures Fabrication: To increase the assembly line's speed and repeatability, design and construct unique work-holding devices.
Quality Inspection: To confirm tool dimensions, use high-precision tools including slip gauges, CMMs, and profile projectors.
Process Optimization: Examine tool wear trends and recommend design changes to boost "strokes per sharpen" and lower production costs.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
Education: Diploma/BE in Mech
