We are hiring for AR Callers & SR. AR Callers for Chennai Location
Role & responsibilities
Charge Entry:
Accurately enter patient charges into the billing system based on services rendered.
Verify patient information and ensure accurate coding of services.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any details regarding services rendered.
Ensure timely submission of all charges to optimize revenue cycles.
Adhere to billing and coding compliance guidelines, including HIPAA regulations, insurance payer guidelines, and government regulations.
Payment Posting:
Accurately post payments received from insurance companies and patients into the billing system.
Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Explanation of Remittance Advice (ERAs) for accuracy and completeness.
Identify and document any discrepancies or denials in payments.
Ensure timely and accurate posting of payments to patient accounts.
Verify all EFT deposits and scanned checks have been posted by month end.
General Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records and metrics related to charge posting and payment posting activities.
Prepare reports and analysis as needed, highlighting trends, discrepancies, and performance indicators.
Prioritize workload effectively to ensure timely and accurate charge entry and payment posting.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Maintain a professional and positive attitude, contributing to a positive work environment.
Preferred candidate profile
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field (e.g., medical billing, healthcare administration) preferred.
1-5 years of experience in medical billing, charge entry, or payment posting.
