Job description
As an experienced Forklift Operator, your role involves operating forklifts, reach trucks, and other industrial vehicles to move materials, products, and equipment safely. You will be responsible for loading and unloading materials from trucks, railcars, and transportation vehicles. Your duties also include tracking inventory, performing cycle counts, and maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Additionally, you will be expected to move, stack, and organize materials in designated storage areas while following inventory control instructions.
Basic equipment maintenance is part of your responsibilities. Conduct routine maintenance checks on forklifts and other equipment, and report any malfunctions to supervisors promptly. Maintaining accurate records of material movements, inventory, incidents, and safety hazards is essential.
Quality assurance plays a significant role in this job. Inspect materials for damage or defects and report any quality issues that may arise. Effective communication with colleagues and supervisors regarding material movement, inventory, and safety concerns is vital.
You will also be responsible for identifying and reporting potential safety hazards in the workplace. Building and organizing pallets of materials, ensuring proper stacking and stability, is part of your daily tasks. Utilizing RF scanning equipment to track inventory and ensure accuracy is also required.
This full-time, permanent position is suitable for both experienced individuals and freshers. The work location is in person, and food will be provided as a benefit.,
