Job Title: Receivable Specialist Manager
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India
Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) process.
Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely collection of payments.
Lead and mentor the AR team; manage performance and training.
Analyze customer accounts and resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
Prepare and review aging reports, DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), and cash flow forecasts.
Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Billing, Finance) for smooth operations.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and accounting standards.
Report key AR metrics to senior management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field (Master’s preferred).
5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable; at least 1–2 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of AR processes, billing systems, and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Salary:
₹8,00,000 – ₹15,00,000 per annum (based on experience, company, and industry).
Performance bonuses and other benefits may be included.
Working Days & Hours:
Monday to Friday (5 days a week)
General shift (typically 9 AM – 6 PM)
Occasionally may require extended hours during month-end or audit periods
