Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Experience Required: 6 to 10 Years
Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering)
Shift: General Shift

Key Responsibilities

Execute preventive and scheduled maintenance on machinery, utilities, and plant infrastructure.

Support installation and commissioning of new machines/equipment.

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment reliability data.

Adhere to safety, health, and environmental standards (e.g. ISO 14001, OHSAS).

Skills Required:

Expertise in preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance strategies.

Knowledge of safety and quality standards (ISO, OHSAS).

Strong logical troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.

Good command over SAP or equivalent maintenance/ERP systems.

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Desired Experience:

Working knowledge of vehicle manufacturing, assembly, or heavy engineering environments preferred.

Familiarity with handling robotics, PLCs, and control systems is a plus.

Proven track record of managing maintenance tasks for complex machinery.

Compensation:

Salary Range: ₹60,000 – ₹70,000 per month
