Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Plant General Manager to lead our manufacturing operations in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of plant operations, and a proven track record of driving efficiency, safety, and team performance in a manufacturing environment.

Experience: 10 to 12 Years
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Qualification: BE / B.Tech
Shift: General Shift
Salary: 8 to 10 LPA

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the entire plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, safety, and logistics.

Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in productivity, quality, and safety.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Manage budgets, production schedules, and workforce planning.

Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of engineers, supervisors, and technicians.

Collaborate with senior management for strategic planning and execution.

Candidate Profile:

Education: BE or B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or relevant engineering discipline.

Experience: 10–12 years in plant operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality systems.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lead in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
