Position Senior Mechanical Engineer for an Energy Company

Key roles & responsibilities
Design systems and components that meet needs and requirements Produce outline designs Conduct experiments methodically, analyse data and interpret results Test and evaluate theoretical designs Implement designs on site and manage projects Evaluate final products overall performance, reliability and safety Alter and modify design to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions Estimate budget and scope of project Solicit observations from operators Prepare project reports and documentation Engage in lifelong learning and develop new theories or

Key competencies
A keen interest in Environment and Energy Efficiency A minimum of BE degree in Mechanical Engineering without a history of reappearance. Preferable: Work experience in Mechanical Engineering or as a Site Engineer Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ProE or other) Adequate knowledge of Engineering Analysis tools (ANSYS, ProMechanica or similar) Clear understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, materials science etc Creativity and analytical skills Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner in English Technical writing skills in English Work experience with product lifecycle management (PLM), finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is an advantage Practical Requirements Material selection based on design requirements and material availability Sheetmetal design knowledge. Selection of compressor, condenser, expansion valve and evaporator Coordinating with testing team for proper functioning of product and implementing the necessary changes in design with change request Sheetmetal cutting, bending and coating then into a machine frame Coordinating with assembly team for identifying the assembly difficulties and developing assembly fixtures & optimizing the assembly process Optimizing the existing product after the market launch based on customer feedback and product performance Detailed 2D drawing preparation with GD&T and respective BOM creation

Practical Requirements
Must be fluent in Hindi
Must be willing to travel to sites across India
