We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Marketing Coordinator to collaborate with us for the next 6 months at this important stage in our growth. This exciting role includes a blend of social media marketing, project management, partnership building, and content management. It's the perfect opportunity for a recent graduate who wants to learn (a lot!) about marketing operations in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:
Social Media Marketing: Drive growth in our social media following on key platforms such as Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
Content Creation: Collaborate with our creative team to design and schedule compelling social media content that encourages audience interaction and promotes our brand
Influencer Outreach: Identify and establish partnerships with influencers to amplify our reach and grow our social media followers
Brand Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with brands on Marmalade to create activations that boost user acquisition. Lead outreach to merchants, coordinating the development and execution of partnership ideas
Newsletter Management: Execute our weekly newsletter while ensuring a high click-through rate. Evaluate the effectiveness of monthly themes by monitoring the engagement metrics for corresponding newsletter content
Editorial Calendar Management: Oversee and contribute to the editorial calendar, collaborating with the creative team to develop content across marketing channels
Requirements
Internship experience that has exposed you to various facets of digital marketing
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Fluency with social media platforms and metrics
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; copywriting experience a plus!
Excited about building relationships and can confidently represent Marmalade externally
Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities
Flexible and able to adapt in a continually evolving, entrepreneurial environment
Tapped into cultural trends, with an eye for creating engaging content
Proactive and excited to take on the responsibilities of an early stage startup. It’s a hustle and not for everyone!
Benefits
Hourly rate: $23/hour (40 hours per week)
